I asked about the big Benny special, and our server was confused.
Big Benny came out... Asked what I'd like... Getting some kind of seafood sampler alfredo...
Friendly, AMAZING food. What I had, Big Benny's special, which he asked what I wanted and suggested something-- was freaking amazing!!! My new Italian place... Ps: they remember Mitch and MattK.
Group dinner, SOON???
Some super villains bend bullets, well I bend time.
The downside of being better than everyone else is that people tend to assume you're pretentious.

Gave it a shot today since it's not far up Custer from where I live. I thought it was pretty good - I did enjoy the alfredo sauce, though I always think most alfredo sauces are too runny. Side salad was good, looked like fresh produce and not just some iceberg lettuce drowning in overpowering dressing. What's funny about those bread rolls is they are in every neighborhood strip mall Italian joint. Must have the same supplier
Overall I enjoyed it enough to go back and try a few more dishes. And of course it's reasonably priced.
Since the thread is titled "Best Italian food I have eaten in Dallas" I will put my vote in for Isabella's on the corner of Legacy and 121. That is my favorite "hidden gem".
